Pyorala seemed to be the victim of most people still not knowing enough about him when the voting occurred. Just like Betts is the victim of not being a Flyer until yesterday, thus missing out on being in the top 15. And Pyorala barely beat out Carcillo.

I don’t know that it’s a lack of worth, it’s a lack of being more valuable than others. Carcillo serves an important role as pest (and if he can cut down on the bad minors then he’ll be even better at it) and pugilist; but while those are important, it’s not nearly as important as having solid D, goaltending and a 4th line center like Betts who can win faceoffs and what-not. I love Carcillo and think he’s the most valuable of the guys left on the board once Betts is gone. He actually can add a spark to the team as well as defend players with a good fight; Cote is the worthless player of this bunch…
World Ph*cking Champs! That was fun - let's do it again...

He has a devoted, but minuscule following.

If they’ll trade for him, they can have him for whatever they’re willing to give up (even ‘future considerations’ would be fine). But I don’t want Homer putting him on re-entry waivers. He seems to have finally fixed the cap — last thing we need is a $1.375m cap hit for a player who’s no longer a Flyer.
