Jared Ross was sent back to the Phantoms. That means Briere will play against the Canucks.
-- via Tim Panaccio's turn to write about John Stevens' job.
This also means Riley Cote will play his 'gasp' third straight game Jon Kalinski will likely center the fourth line.

Needless to say, I am not pleased with this.

Why the hell would Ross be going down if Briere’s coming back? Is Stevens’ latest shakeup to use Briere as center (which is what he’s paid $6.5m to be…), relegate Giroux to right wing (or fourth line center) and then talk non-stop about how he wants to use Giroux as a top line center?

Haha, nevermind. Completely forgot about Kalinski.

I don’t think Riley Cote will play this game, because the lineups will look something like:
Line One
LW Scott Hartnell
C Jeff Carter
RW Claude Giroux
Line Two
LW James van Riemsdyk
C Mike Richards "C"
RW Danny Briere
Line Three
LW Daniel Carcillo
C Mika Pyorala
RW Ian Laperriere
Line Four
LW Andreas Nodl
C Jonathon Kalinski
RW Arron Asham

Yeah, you’re right. I forgot about Kalinski, just like Ben. Oops.
