Flyers Mike Richards and Chris Pronger have been named to Team Canada for the 2010 Olympics, with Jeff Carter being the only vaguely possible Canadian Flyer left off the team.
It's also a dark day for the select few of us who were holding out hope for Danny Syvret making the team.

This is probably a stupid question to pose, but to the anyone who is listening, what size ice surface are they playing the olympics on? Pronger instead of Green on a big surface might be a mistake for Canada. Another Olympics question, Now that Martin Brodeur is an American citizen how does that effect his eligibility for team Canada? Good luck to Pronger and Richards, USA!

Simon Gagne was invited to camp in August….
He left camp early due to his injury or got injured after camp—I can’t remember. So he really wasn’t seriously on the radar because of the injury.
