There won’t be that odd man out on the fourth line when Betts and Powe return.

I would switch Carter and Briere, because the former is so great with Hartnell. But other than that I like it.

I agree with that. Cause then you get Briere and Giroux together again.

It’s too bad for Carter that this didn’t come a game sooner. Stevie Y was in the house scouting the Vancouver game, and he was hoping to see Carter play on the wing, considering he’s not making Team Canada as a center.

Laviolette speaks about the lines: “You get some real skilled lines that are together now, you get a good checking line that can go out and bang some bodies. And there’s some pieces out of the lineup, so it’s a starting point.”

Carter on the wing, just what I wanted to see. I spent a lot of time last season harping about how I wanted to see Giroux’s set up abilitys with Carters finishing abilities.
The only change id make is flipping Laps with Pyorala or Asham, but once Betts and Powe return this likely wont be an issue. Sucks I gotta miss tonights game because of work, I cant wait to see how the Laviolette led Flyers look.
Healthy scratch like always, I assume.

With Laviolette’s anti fighting stance, Riley Cote may be facing what we in the business call a “smell ya later” situation.
