Niittymaki feeling better, Munroe back to Phantoms
The Philadelphia Flyers had a complete day off on Monday after two straight convincing victories on Saturday and Sunday over the New York Islanders and Rangers, respectively. The team will be back on the ice at its practice facility on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Antero Niittymaki has recovered from the flu that saw him miss both games, and will return to the ice for the skate. "I'm feeling better. Yesterday I was a little better, and today I'm really good. I think it's all behind now," he said.
Biron's flu back in December gave Niittymaki the chance to emerge and Niitty took advantage. Now, his flu has given Biron the chance to become the top guy again and he's taken advantage as well. It's weird how these things come full circle, isn't it?
