Biron to start Wednesday; Flu bug still hurting team
Martin Biron will be the Flyers starting goaltender tomorrow night against Boston. He hasn't played since last Tuesday in Florida. Randy Jones is feeling better and he skated this morning at practice -- it looks like he will play tomorrow night. Braydon Coburn is still feeling the effects of the flu and didn't take to the Skate Zone ice this morning. He is still listed as questionable for tomorrow night. If he doesn't start, expect Lasse Kukkonen to get the spot.

Flu? Really?
What do hockey players do that they are constantly getting the flu? I mean, I realize the time of year they play and all—but my son brings home all kinds of germs from the daycare and I haven’t had the flu (knock on wood) in years. Is their hygeine really that lacking? Perhaps they need to start carrying around—or have their significant others carry around—hand sanitizer.

Biron had the same flu back before Christmas, so it’s been with them for a while. I’m pretty sure they wash everything down when things like this happen to the team, but again, them being on the road for so much of the past month hasn’t helped things.
Maybe you’re just lucky?
I think there might be something to this flu being a main reason for the way they’ve played lately. They haven’t been all that bad or anything, but the level of play certainly hasn’t been as high as it was two months ago.
