Knuble nominated for 2009 Masterson Trophy
The Professional Hockey Writers Association announced their nominees from the Atlantic Division for this years Masterson Trophy yesterday. Mike Knuble was the Flyers nominee. The honor is given out annually to one player who demonstrates "perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey."

I would say Gagne is deserving of this award given how hes perservered and come back from an injury riddled season to have a great year. but its also hard to argue with Knuble getting any award dealing with dedication and perserverance.
