Phoenix gets: 2009 4th round pick

For the Flyers, this is rather big. It means that the rumored deal we reported yesterday that had Martin Biron heading to Phoenix potentially for defenseman Derek Morris is dead. Phoenix then would've flipped Biron to Buffalo to fill their goalie void. Apparently that died out, so Buffalo went about other means to fill that void in the net.

The Fourth Period is reporting that the Flyers are pressing hard for Morris still, so we'll see where this goes. Puck Daddy reported a rumor this morning that had Biron, Upshall, and Lupul going to Phoenix for goalie Ilya Bryzgalov and Morris. We'll see.
