Hurricanes beat Rangers, pass Flyers into 4th place
The Hurricanes beat the Rangers tonight in Raleigh tonight by a score of 4-2. It is the seventh straight win for the surging 'Canes, and they now sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings, one point ahead of the Flyers. Luckily for Philadelphia, they hold two games in hand over Carolina, the first coming Friday night against Toronto.

Better the 'Canes...
… than the Rangers. Besides, if the Flyers get their act together, this will just be a blip on the radar.
Yuck
The standings are a total cluster…definitely too close for comfort. Gotta win those games in hand.
