"They call themselves the most intimidating? That's pretty pretentious. They try to be intimidating. They're all dressed in orange T-shirts and they scream a lot. Does that make the Flyers a better team? I don't think so."
- Penguins idiot Maxime Talbot, h/t The 700 Level
An ESPN survey of your peers called us intimidating, we didn't make it up. Idiot.

Really?
Only losers resort to taking cheap shots at a fanbase. I don’t want to hear it out of my players about another team’s fanbase so it’s not something I waver on.
If the fans don’t affect the game, why are you commenting about them? Methinks he doth protest too much.
Why even comment?
All it will do is make the arena louder and the Pens hated more. If you take a 3-1 lead back to Pitt, go ahead and say it. Up 2-1 heading into a crucial game 4 in Philly, that comment just seems dumb.

If He Wants Intimidation...
He’s clearly just asking for our fans to get louder and more obnoxious. So be it, I say. If he wants us to chant “Talbot Sucks” every time his skates hit the ice like we do with Crosby, fine. Just a really dumb comment from Talbot with at least one more game left in Philly…

And his comments matter because?

They Don't
It’s just something to talk about after an off day. More ammo for the “pretentious” fans.
