There isn't much to say about tonight's game that hasn't been said already. The Flyers need a turn around, now. Play like they played on Wednesday night and heads are gonna roll. There needs to be a solid, 60-minute, 120% effort tonight from everybody.

Period. Kick some Leaf ass.

Between the Pipes: Martin Biron will look to rebound after being pulled Wednesday night in Toronto. Martin Gerber will start for the Leafs after serving a three game suspension for abuse of an official. He hasn't played since March 24th.

Go Flyers, and for the love of God, just win.

I think they got the message. 3-0, less than 10 minutes in.

Keep it up, Flyers.

To add icing to this already delicious game—the Devils are losing. To Tampa.

The Flyers better not think the game is over cuz they’re up so much.

2 quick goals? What the heck?

Don’t get comfortable, boys.

Has anyone else noticed that the home team has worn white in both games of this home and home? Weird.

Still lots of game left—for the Flyers and Devils—fortunately or unfortunately.

We have to hold on.

If we somehow blow this, we will be done. According to Therien, Stevens was not happy at the end of the second. Let’s see how they respond.

by mikefive on Apr 3, 2009 8:47 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Can’t imagine why Stevens was unhappy…/sarcasm

7-3, whew.

Hard to believe that’s Carter’s first hat trick given he’s a 40 goal guy.

What the hell is going on?

If ever this team could put it all together at once, they might be dangerous. Right now, I can’t figure out who they are.

by doubleh on Apr 3, 2009 9:22 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Yes, but it took them OT

To beat the Lightning. And they had to score 5 goals to do it—the Devils don’t come by goals easily. They are still in trouble.

I just hope the Flyguys can put together a tighter game tomorrow.

by doubleh on Apr 3, 2009 10:16 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yes, but...

The Panthers lost in regulation. That means if we win once more, or if the Panthers lose once more, then we clinch a playoff spot. So all is not lost.

It would be nice to get it done tomorrow night against Ottawa, so we can go into our last four games knowing that we’re already in the playoffs.
