Please, fellow Flyers fans, help me...

Ok, this is probably not what you are thinking but I need help from all of you more experienced hockey fans then myself to explain to me something that keeps missing its mark everytime I hear about it.

Game 6, Philly is rocking, up by 3 goals and then Daniel Carillo takes a fight with Talbot. The fight last a whole maybe 15 secs and Carillo is skating to the sin bin and Talbot is picking himself off the ice with the Wach' rockin. All I hear from the announcers is, "that is ill-advised" "bad fight for Carillo" yadda yadda yadda. I mean the place is going nuts, WE WON THE FIGHT, up by 3 goals...nah, no way I don't see how that fight changed everything. Honestly, I think it was just a opportune goal by Malkin. I knew when he was starting to make his way around the back of the net that we was going to do his little turn-a-round move and make his way back from where he started and (I've seen this all season from Marty) No effort from pipe to pipe to stop wrap around type goals....he did it all season and he did it there. That goal is what sparked the pitt and woke them up....not Talbot. Fans should of poured a beer on him, instead of Torts, for trying to shush us too...what a turd.

I think the goal just got into the heads of our players and just poor execution by our netminder Biron to stop the puck. I knew Malkin was going to make that move and knew that he was probably gonna score. Of course, then not only 1 but 2 pucks go in from Crosby and Eaton playing baseball and swinging for the fences for the pucks that were loose in the air. C'mon Marty! If one went in on ya like that, make an honest effort to stop the next one that does the same thing!!!! sigh....

I don't know, maybe some can enlighten me (please be gentle, :)  I hated seeing our boys lose, knowing we were really the better hockey team and knowing we could have at least pushed a Game 7 out of them. Just burns me more hearing that the fight was the reason we lost it. Just think Malkin did what he does best and put in a timely goal and sparked Pitt back to life...throw in couple of bounces and alot of luck and BOOYAH! Pens sadly win...for now.

Looking forward to next year and pounding them in oblivion...
