Briere Has Eye Surgery Done
As per ESPN.com
Philadelphia Flyers center Danny Briere will have corrective eye surgery Tuesday.
General manager Paul Holmgren says Briere will have a procedure called photorefractive keratectomy. He will take a few weeks to recover.
Briere says his contact lenses bothered him at times during the season so he elected to have surgery.
Hopefully he'll be able to produce even more after this type of surgery. Ideally, he should be producing over a point per game. Barring injury a la last season, there should be nothing to stop him from doing so.
