The NHL, the media, and several Flyers players and personnel will gather at Fenway Park in Boston today at 2 PM for what the league is calling a "special announcement." If that's not a definitive sign that the Flyers will play the Bruins on New Years Day in the Winter Classic, it's hard to say what else is.

The entire schedule will reportedly be released at 3 PM today, as well. It is usually announced the day after the MLB All-Star Game, the only day on the calendar where there are no major pro games in the United States.

Am I the only one just not that excited for this? I probably will as it gets closer, but the Bruins are just bleh for me.
