It's Official: Flyers vs. Bruins at Fenway Park on New Year's Day for 2010 Winter Classic
The Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins will face off in the 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway Park in Boston, the NHL announced today.
The third Winter Classic is the second straight to be held at an iconic Major League Baseball stadium, after the 2009 Winter Classic on January 1, 2009 featured the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field.
The Flyers' most famous previous match-ups against the Boston Bruins were in the 1974 Stanley Cup Finals, when the Flyers beat the heavily favored Bruins in six games to become the first expansion team to win the Stanley Cup.
If you want to see the Flyers live in this historic event, you'd better start looking for tickets immediately. And they won't come cheap.

hey ben, travis, we need to find an inside source besides flyers season ticket/cybear club/bruins season ticket holders. My budget is $300ish for my seat, because i care this much.
all ive been able to find is that tickets are on sale usually around November. but if anyone hears anything, i won’t hold it against you to keep it to yourself but to anyone to can hint me off, it’s about a free case coming your way [provided your 21, and reasonable respect sierra nevada, yuengling, etc]
Road trip?
We need to organize a huge BSH road trip where we meet and all go up to Boston even if we can’t get tickets into Fenway.
*I actually don’t know if I’ll even be in the country :(, we’ll see . . .
