Gauging Interest for a BSH Road Trip to Fenway Park

The idea of a Broad Street Hockey road trip to Fenway Park for the Winter Classic has been floated by several readers around here over the last month or so. Now that the game is official, who would be interested in taking part in such an event?

Of course, tickets are going to be extremely difficult to come by, and I doubt there is going to be an option for purchasing group tickets. So at the best, we could probably rent a bus from Philadelphia and then gather at a bar near Fenway or something for the game. Obviously, details would be worked out a later date, but who would be interested in such a gathering?

Just in case you ignored that last paragraph: we probably will not be able to get tickets in a group. You'd be on your own for that.

If I managed to get tickets I’d meet up with you guys at the bar, but I wouldn’t be along for the ride up or back.

Side note – you might want to also consider group tickets on a train as a possible option before making a decision… driving in Boston is bad enough to begin with, before adding an event like this on top of it.

I'd bout be willing

To make the trip up from Alabama for this one!

Upon moving to AL, I let my wife decide who she would root for. After one day at a new job full of Bama fans, she met me at the door with a hearty cry of "WAR EAGLE"

Good Idea here is an alternative

Meeting and hanging out with such awesome hockey fans especially at the Winter Classic would be great but what is stopping a regular old fashion get together in the Philly area? How about at local hockey friendly sports pub for a preseason game downtown or somewhere in NJ following a gathering at one of the Training Camp scrimmages for lunch and some brews?
