This is sort of an extension to the question posed by the last fanpost writer: chrislanci*
If we have OKT now, then what is next? We all seem sure a trade will go down and probably free up cap space to get the player we want signed, but who to add?.*(the question asked previously) Randy Jones seems to be the name being mentioned most to be let go by the Flyers, but who's in the market for Jones, is there anyone? What will the trade involve, picks or player(s)? Maybe nothing happens?... and we wait til season starts and assess the situation from there; and then, try to make a move to patch any holes there might be early on in the season.(We do seem to have a very good crop of players on the Phantoms that could fill any lacking need)
This is also a long-shot question but maybe this is an interesting one for all the contributors/bloggers on BSH. If Dany Heatley(hypothetically) got traded to the San Jose Sharks; and say Marleau was given to the Sens in return, would that affect any decision-making-process by teams in the West and East looking to make any last minute moves???
...I guess the real question here that I'm asking is: What's the Flyer's Gameplan? From making trades, freeing up precious cap space, to landing wanted Guns-for-Hire(haha, it will be open season in 09-10)....how will the roster look when it is all said and done? Will we be against the cap or given breathing room?...
