WTF are the Rangers thinking? Anyone have any clue? 24 years old and 23-35 for 58 pts at 3.9 million year sounds like like an okay good deal to me. But in NYC names > ability. Good luck playing in LA because Hextall is going to jump all this former number 4 overall pick, which is going to kill the Jones trade. The Rangers couldn't score last year. Now subtract Gomez, Zherdev, Marcus Naslund, Derek Morris and maybe Dubinsky. Add Gaborik who might play 50 games and Higgins' 15 goals at best and Ales Kotalik, who is 5 years older then Zherdev and scored only 23-20 for 43 pts. I still don't see this team being about to put the puck in the next often enough to be a real threat next year. Lundquist is going to get a spinal injury trying to carry this team again next year.
