Donald Brashear… words cannot describe… I’ve always wanted to meet him, especially since he lives in the area during the offseason. Seems like he’d be much more personable than a lot of other players.

I’ve heard he’s a super nice guy actually. Very reserved and quiet, but nice. Tends to be the way with a lot of enforcers.

How huge a boost is this for Jeff Carter’s street cred?

So now there should be no doubt as to who the biggest weed aficionados are on the team…

Interesting...

Years ago at the old Grape Street Pub (back when it was still on Grape Street and had the cool upstairs that no one knew about) I saw a Pittsburgh funk-rock band called “Sho’ Nuff.” They weren’t the best band in the world, but that’s beside the point. I’m mentioning them here because:

1. Their lead guitarist looked a lot like Simon Gagne.
2. Their first song was called “Who Got It?” and had such clever lyrics as: “Oh I can smell it smell it / Somebody got it got it / I got to have it have it / Who’s got the weed?”

Jeff Carter, apparently. Although maybe he was there because he was Junior teammates with Ray Emery, who had a well-publicized photo with Snoop.

Do you see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps?

How come standing next to Snoop for a picture automatically makes you a pot head? Come on people.

On a completely unrelated note, the NHL Network just started working for me (don’t have the sports tier). Anyone else now have it?

Unreal…

As per new community rules; all signature tags on PPP must contain the word "truculent".

I just love how he is wearing a D-Jax jersey. Snoop is totally an honorary Philly sports fan member!
