Ranking the Flyers: Number 10
Welcome, Braydon Coburn!
Coburn follows Hartnell (hence the photo) onto the board at Number 9. In a vote that was closer than the final suggested, Coburn beat out Danny Briere by 15 votes, earning 46% to Briere's 42%.
I think this shows us who the favorite is for Number 10, but that doesn't mean it's locked up. JVR garnered the third most votes, with 20.

I think Briere should higher
But I’m happy that a guy who scored 95 points two season ago is our tenth most valuable player.
I think he would be higher
if he had played all of last season obviously. Briere still has a lot to prove and a lot of people don’t like him because of his contract. But I think that he is going to earn his money this year and hopefully his value as a Flyers player will increase dramatically.

The cool thing about a guy getting 85% in one round is that it leaves the next wide open. Is JVR the favorite for #11 with the 2 votes he’s rocking so far?

Top 2 lines
Well, looking at the voting; I think #10 will be a given. That will cover the top 2 lines. # 11 will be a telling factor. Do we vote a third line scorer? A “D”-man that really needs to step up in order to qualify his cap-hit (team value)? Muscle? Or do we go with a rookie that can possibly provide an immediate impact?
I think this vote only needs to be open for a day. Anyone second that?

2nd here
I also wonder how many Boucher will get going along. If the “Emery Experience” doesn’t work, how important does he look. This season would be an opportune time for Carle to step up considering his paycheck and Jones for that matter also(although not expecting either to do so)
Carle
Reports from the first two days of camp show he was one of the two most impressive players, along with Pyorala, for what that’s worth.
Personally, I think Carle is a solid #4. I thought he played well in the playoffs last year, and while maybe not earning all of his salary ($3.43 million cap hit), I think he’s definitely worth $3 million. And at that point, it’s just nitpicking.

My comment above was a reference to Jones. I have had higher expectations from him……….
I think voting only needs to go on for today
It could apply to both, but I was replying to Crosby sucks with that. Jones qualifying his cap hit? Is that a realistic expectation though? haha.
Yeah, voting will only go on for today. There’s no question about the result
