Ranking the Flyers: Number 11
Well, that wasn't much of a contest. Danny Briere won with 78% of the vote, while JVR came in second place with 6%. Only person not receiving a vote? Randy Jones.
We'll see how this vote progresses, but it looks to be a two-day window.

I went with Lappy on this one. The Flyers are going to need a some sort of skill on the third line and I hope lappy can step up to the plate.
If JVR makes the squad, he will defineately be in this spot though. I did consider Boosh here if the Emery experiment is a fail… perhaps #12
I voted Arron Asham, hear me out on this one. Asham is the rare player who can keep up with anyone in a fight and still carry his weight offensively. A rare commodity. Since some sort of fighter will undoubtedly be in the top 20, why not get one who isn’t useless with the puck?

I think Asham’s very clearly ahead of the other goons, but 11th — after Lappy and Boosh, both of whom will play a much larger role than Asham — seems a bit high to me. Don’t get me wrong; Asham’s great and I hope he’s re-signed next year, but I don’t know if his role warrants that high of a ranking. (I voted for Lappy, by the way.)
JVR
JVR with (as of right now) has 25% of the vote and has 9 votes more then the next highest, Carle? I think the ground rules may be a little vague or being mis-understood (maybe by me) JVR looks to be by the voting the #11 most valuable Flyer. Does this vote pertain to the big team, or the organization as a whole? If it is the team, then since JVR has not made the squad (as of yet) he shouldnt be listed. If it is the organization, then deffinately he should be placed in this spot……….just wondering
It's the organization
Since the first vote, he’s been the only non-roster player listed. I figure Bourdon, Marshall, Nodl, Kalinski, etc. will be added at some point, but not until JVR is gone. Which might be soon.
