I go goalies first. I think they are essential to the success of this team. I voted Boucher because, despite the solid play of Ray Emery who has really impressed me so far throughout the preseason, he is still an unknown. I think Suga Ray is gonna be fine but if anything does happen everything falls back into the lap of the Water Boy. He needs to be sharp despite the fact that he is not considered the #1 goalie.

I’m in the clear minority here – Pat Maroon. Can’t really defend it, and I’ll most certainly vote someone else next round, but I feel bad the kid got hurt and couldn’t really challenge Pyorala and JVR. I think he could have easily been in that conversation, if not for the injury.
