Fantasy Hockey. To Play or Not To Play?

I have been an avid member of the fantasy sports society for almost ten years. Baseball and football are my only two games because they don't really conflict, and those are the two most popular and, IMO, fun fantasy sports. My knowledge of the player pool far surpasses my knowledge of hockey, but that could be fixed with a little bit of research. My problem with hockey is that my centers looked like this last year in both leagues I played in: Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Blair Betts. My wings looked like this: Giroux, JVR, Cote. My defense had both Bartullis AND Kraijeck. Needless to say Leights was my goalie with a mix of Backy and Boosh. I am a homer. I hate every other team in the east. The olympics helped my knoledge and fandom a little bit, giving me soft spots for guys like Dusty Brown, David Backes, (not Kane, I just didn't like his game), Ryan Miller, and even division foes like Chris Drury, Ryan Calahan, Zach Parise, and even Brooks Orpic.

My question to you fantasy guys, "does becoming a fantasy guy hurt your Flyer fanhood?"
