Pronger sleep-elbows the same way us mere mortals sleep-walk and sleep-talk.

Its a shame he’s not really on the trip… He’s stuck on a bus some where really cold… sucks to be him, but we will see him soon

I love the idea that Pronger involuntarily spasm with his elbow while sleeping.

haha, add a fourth frame with Harts already on the floor and Wellwood falling down next to him, unconscious from the elbow.

Hahaha, this is great. Assistant Captain Elbows at it again.

Quick question for English Majors. Shouldn’t it be “I don’t know Hartsy…” without the comma? The pause before Hartsy seems out of place. Sorry to get picky, just curious for my own education.

I think it would depend on if Wellwood pauses when he’s speaking.

I’ll agree with that, but read it out loud to yourself and see if that sounds right. For me it just doesn’t. Again, I’m not trying to be a dick, just trying to better my own english writing/grammar.

Nope. It’s correct. You always put a comma in when you’re addressing someone, Psy09. Otherwise it would read so: I don’t know Hartsy. As in, I don’t know who Hartsy is. Never heard of him.

I love the Flyers so much I even went to Bobby Clarke Day Camp.

I just noticed that the hammer and sickle is a goalie mask. Now I want it even more.

At first I thought it would be better in orange with a Flyers logo somewhere, but upon further reflection I think I like that a non-Flyers-fan would have no idea what is going on (more than usual).

This probably isn’t the place to do this, but according to JvR’s twitters we know who, from the Flyers, is on the national team. And I figured you of all people would be the first to report that or make an article. I am dissapointed.

By the way, GIROUX ISN’T ON THE LIST. Somehow Carter is.

Let's do it again

by Cillo stache on Nov 12, 2010 7:33 PM EST reply actions

Yep that’s what I interpreted it as being about. Two potential explanations from me:
1) popularity contest, and Giroux isn’t considered as universally ‘popular’. Remembering that MA Fleury and Niemi are making these lists over goalies who have been playing far more like all stars this season.
2) they were settled on these names very early in the season, and have ignored happenings since.

Giroux’s still got a chance to make it though.

Simon Gagne may move between towns, wear new jerseys and call different arenas home, but at the end of the day, he will always be a Philadelphia Flyer.

Carter being an all-star gets the flyers better value if he’s traded. Just saying.

No one will want him if we sign him to a long term contract. So looks like we will be stuck with him. Just sain

I have an idea for a Bobs shirt. A goalie mask or some goalie related paraphanelia and it says: You block shot, I tap butt or I’d tap that.
