It’s called Ref-by-Result. His head whipped, the elbow was near, therefore it must have been an elbow to the head. I agree though after looking at the replay. It was shoulder to shoulder and then a follow thru over his head.

We outplayed them that period… There goalie was just better…

You can’t win them all. Still, plenty of time remaining. I will say this: Hab fans make us look rational and sane. Carey Price was about to be run out of town beginning of the season; now they love him? Bite me, Montreal.

Bob needs a break. We should’ve played Boosh against Carolina and/or Florida.

I don’t think he’s playing poorly at all, so I don’t think his need for a break has any bearing on this game.

That second goal was weak, but I agree he isn’t playing poorly, so what if he lets in a softy once in a while (even though the timing of that Plekanec goal really hurt)

by edbro on Nov 16, 2010 8:48 PM EST up reply actions

It was just him guessing and getting caught. He’s learning.

by KreiderDesigns on Nov 16, 2010 8:48 PM EST up reply actions

So long as he doesn’t start letting in mr. softee type goals like some past goalies we had.

by zot22 on Nov 16, 2010 8:49 PM EST up reply actions

That’s the softest yet I have seen. Kids playin good. The Flyers know Boosch is on the bench, right?

Stick with me babe, moth balls the size of diamonds.

by flyerfreek on Nov 16, 2010 8:53 PM EST up reply actions

I don’t think he’s the reason we’re down, but knowing we had a tough game like this coming up, we should have rested him against a softer competitor like Carolina or Florida. I don’t want to see Bobrovsky run down. We also have the Caps coming up later this week.

I agree, but I don’t think it’s any reflection of how he’s played.

by Snevik on Nov 16, 2010 8:47 PM EST up reply actions

He was slow on that second goal, but I think that may be more due to not knowing what Plekanec was going to do.

Thought it was leights, but I could only make out the 4. The only obvious one was Coburn. The rest were blurry either from the picture, or my laughing so hard earlier in the episode with the (negative) entendres.
