New online movie shows Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation

Hey all,

I have been an occasional commentator on this blog - mostly related to North - South Jersey stuff and how that relates to the Devils - Flyers rivalry.

Travis gave me the go-ahead to plug my new short film, which looks at Hockey in the USA.  It's a slice of the country - the Northeast, but it was filmed during a pivotal time: the Winter Olympics.   We did get some recent press where I pretty much vent frustration at the coverage of hockey by the New York media.

I've stated here before that Philly does a much better job covering all of the sports than New York does where it's baseball 24/7.  You think you're hearing a lot about Jayson Werth?  Double that for all the Jeter talk that will be going on all winter, where the Rangers, Devils or Isles won't get a mention.

Anyway, if you have the patience it's 47 minutes plus.   It's featured at www.backyard-hockey.com under the "Hockey in the USA" tab.   There is a short segment where the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation is shown and it also mentions HBO's BSB documentary.  The ESYHF has done a lot for hockey in Philly.  If you don't know - you should read this.

Thanks as always for letting me be a guest here . . . .
