Also, every report I’ve seen says Leino is the exact opposite of strong with the puck.

Who do you think told Laviolette that Leino is strong on the puck? It has to have been Holmgren, right? Who else would be telling Laviolette about the new acquisition?

It could’ve been a scout or the director of player personnel or something. I wouldn’t jump to that conclusion.
