What will this site be like for the next two weeks?

It will depend solely on how the rest of the week goes. If they lose the next three before the break it will be “sky is falling run for your lives, fire the GM (which I am for regardless), start dumping the squad”. If they split it will be pondering possible trades and who is not living up to expectations, etc. If they finish with at least three wins, Stanley Cup or bust.

Travis can answer this one a lot better than I can, but I’m personally apathetic toward the Olympics. I expect to write a few stats stories, one of which will focus on our new favorite stat: GFON/60, GAON/60, etc.

Also, don’t be surprised if Ben writes a few things about Team Latvia.

That sounds good to me.

Whatever works, works, and its your guys’ choice.

But I wouldn’t be interested in a game thread for every game that involved one of the big five (US, Canada, Russia, Sweden, Czech)

Travis – Switzerland is listed in both Group A and Group C. One of those should be Sweden.

Can certain NHL boards going to represent a Country during the Olympic break?
For example, “Winging it in Motown” represent the Swedish team. So every time they Swedes play we can head over their for a live chat.
Or go to “Eyes on the Prize” could represent canada to live chat for Canada?
It would be nice to find a way to chat with other fans who are normally rivals, all rooting for a certain country for 60 minutes.
God knows I cant organizes it but I bet someone out there can and each home team board could spread the news quickly if it got done
Just a thought.
If not I will still be happy to find you guys here on BSH!

I’ll give him 1.5…. He’s said many times it hurts less in skates than in normal shoes, so I’m thinking he won’t notice the pain is bad enough until after one complete game. But I’ll be flabbergasted if he’s still playing after round robin, that’s for sure.
