Flyers targeting Nashville's Hamhuis?
A Quick Round-Up of the the article:
- Oskars Bartulis did not practice today. He may suffering from a groin injury sustained at the Olympics.
- Ryan Parent skated with Braydon Coburn; is expected to play tomorrow.
- ". . . today is judgment day for Ray Emery with regards to his status for the rest of the season."
- Apparently, the Flyers are pursuing Nashville's Dan Hamhuis.
- With Syvret being sent to ADK, Emery probably going on IR and Cote being waived, the Flyers would have room for Hamhuis. Rumor has it that the Preds might want Ryan Parent back.

Hamhuis was discussed around here a month ago, and I must say I’m a fan. For the right price – I hypothesized something similar to Syvret/Nodl or Parent/Asham – I would definitely make this trade, then pick one of him or Coburn to resign this off season, leaving next year’s D corps:
Pronger-Carle
Timonen-Coburn/Hamhuis
Bartulis-Parent/Syvret (whichever isn’t traded)/FA signing this offseason.

Ray Emery has officially been placed on IR, and along with placing Riley Cote on waivers, Paul Holmgren is about to pull trigger on a deal.
