You know, I never saw definitive proof either. But I’m assuming the ref did because he didn’t signal that it was no-goal, nor did they go for a review.

well i’m not going to jinx us and just stay glued and pray/hope for the best for our Flyers. this is a good start and hopefully we finish strong with another goal or two.
i will say that everyone made a big deal about Broduer being the better goalie but i think people forget that this isn’t Marty from the early 2000 cup runs…this is almost 10 years later…he is going to be slower, he is human, he isn’t what he use to be…does that mean he isn’t good? no, he will keep them in this…but he isn’t the invincible wall that everyone keeps making him out to be…at least not anymore.

And yet they call themselves “Jersey’s Team.”
Flyers own southern Jersey. Rangers basically own northern Jersey. I’ve never understood why the few Devils fans scattered about the area refuse to face the facts that New Jersey does not have one hockey team to call their own. I know they want it because New Jersey does not have much of a singular identity, but it really just is not there with the Devils.
Proudly supporting a Flyers team with "no honor".
It’s a smart campaign, I guess, but it’s never going to come true. Most Jerseyans have roots in the big cities, even though they may have NJ pride at the same time. It’s a weird situation.
Also, I’m not rooting for a team that’s two-plus hours away, especially when I don’t get their games on TV.

If all else fails, just refer back to the thread from the first game of the Jersey home and home for the geographical history lesson about how they’re supposed to be two separate states anyway…. Any attempts at a singular identity have always been a losing battle.

My point is, it is not written in the rule book that when blood is drawn on a minor penalty it becomes a double minor.
Just catching up up here…. It almost does say that for high-sticking, it’s something like “for all contact that causes an injury, whether accidental or careless” is a double minor. Still kinda stupid.

This game is reminding me of the first USA/Canada matchup. We have the lead, but right now, it feels like we’re just trying to withstand a storm while the clock runs down. I’d like to see the Flyers get some pressure of their own.

I got Lindros knocked out by Stevens, T.O. to blow up in Philly, Eagles to not re-sign Dawkins, and the latest one was the McNabb trade, though everytime I wore that jersey on an Eagles gameday, they would lose.

This jersey never had bad luck really, but I wore it to the 8-2 caps disaster in December, and I put it in the corner and haven’t touched it since…. Last night I thought maybe if I took it to the HBO Documentary showing the good energy from all those players might remove the bad luck, and it seems to have worked

Somehow my stream is on CBC news, and not TSN for Yotes-Wings.
Bleh.
Proudly supporting a Flyers team with "no honor".
Next question: does this all mean that Boosh will be the starter next year with a Bernier or whoever backing him up instead of the other way around? Cause that would be a hell of a nasty thing, regardless of whether or not the Flyers win another game this series, to take away the starting role after all this.
Depends on how far we go, right? I mean, Boosh is really streaky. When he’s hot though, he can be damn good. But I think even if it went good he’d end up in more of a shared/tandem role, not a guaranteed starter.
