Okay, okay, so no, Mike Richards isn't a finalist for the Lady Byng Trophy. But um, you can understand my laughter when every Flyers writer...

... thought he was, for some reason. They all offered quick corrections via Twitter, saying that it's in fact Brad Richards, not Mike, but that doesn't make this any less hilarious. Would they really give the award for the "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability" to THIS guy?

Would've been too good to be true, really. Better luck next year, Mike.

haha, his interviews are hysterical. Anybody who bitches about his post-game quotes needs to hear his other interviews, because he really is just a bland guy. His Preston and Steve interview on Monday was quite boring. That’s who he is.

This is definitely one of my favorite interviews ever made with Mike. Gotta agree with Geoff, that he really is just a bland guy. Especially when he’s interviewed after a loss. It always seems like he’s close to dying…

How on earth does he fire this team up at all? Awesome interview though.
The shot he takes at about 38 seconds into the empty net is possibly one of the worst I have seen
