All the experts picked us to lose to the Bruins, often in 5 or 6 games. Do they think the rest will hurt us?

I could care less like ToddtheFox said everybody picked the Devils against us and we beat them in five, it just makes it that much better when we win.

Probably because they still don’t believe in Boosh and the injuries to Carter, Gagne, and Lappy.

This is good, at least I think so….. For one thing, Boosh will continue to feel he has something to prove, as will the rest of the team, so we have built in motivation. Besides, in Philly, all our teams seem to do better when the national media thinks they can’t pull it off. In 2008 with the Flyers they thought we would never beat the Caps, then they thought we’d never beat the Habs, then for the ECF it was more like “Well they did do well against the Pens in the regular season” and then boom, we go down in 5 games. 2008 for the Phillies it was “The Dodgers swept the Cubs, there’s no way the Phillies will beat them” and “After Tampa Bay beat the Red Sox the Phillies have no chance” etc etc…. I like the pattern much better when they don’t expect our teams to win. But maybe that’s just me.
