VIDEO: Brian Boucher's Gigantic, Perhaps Season-Saving Save
If the Maple Leafs score here, the game will likely go to overtime. Once that happens, there are no guarantees what the outcome will be. Did Brian Boucher save a playoff spot with this save, as the Leafs announcer says in the clip? We might never know for sure. But there's no denying that it will be remembered for some time around here.

Thank you BOOOOOOOOOOSH
What a way to earn your 100th win!
Its crazy to think that on the same night Brodeur got a shutout as well as he recorded this 600th win.
Thats 500 more wins
a season is 82 games long
Thats just over 6 full undefeated seasons worth of wins
(and thats not including his first 100)
I fricking hate the Devils, and Brodeur, but the guy is good at his job
Yes, but 2 games with people going “Come on Boosh, we know you can do it!”, versus 2 games of “Start Backlund!”. Definitely a difference for Boosh’s confidence, there.

It almost looked like Laviolette said “Wow” in that clip.

I saw a more angry response than “wow”, but no idea what he said.
Then again, maybe Lavy is just always angry.

My lip reading is usually really good, but what I’m reading doesn’t make sense…. I watched it about 25 times, and while I’m pretty sure the first part is “Damn it”, he definitely appears to purse his lips to make a “p” or “b” sound, so where everybody else thought he said “wow”, it reads like “Damn it, Powe”, but he isn’t on the ice! Its the last word that I can’t figure out, unless Lavvy has a nickname for somebody that I don’t know about.
