Your grade is a 20%. You got all of them wrong except #4. Flyers never get bounces.

An F is just about what I would expect from the Bawhstan school system. I’m afraid you’re going to have to repeat the 2nd round…next year.

If you really think you are gonna win this series I am sorry about your denial.
If the Flyers win this series I will make a fanpost and face the music. I bet this with someone in Buffalo before the series and i won. How does this sound?

How exactly does that make you “face the music?” It’s not like your betting that you have to come to Philly wear a Bruins jersey and get tarred and feathered.

Boston Mayor SNAFU

You remember Adam Varitek, the most famous placekicker in Boston history, don’t you?

“Boston has an amazing set of remarkable athletes whose actions in the moment have become (sic) ionic in sports. Havlicek stole the ball. Fisk waved the ball fair. Flutie launched the Hail Mary pass. Varitek split the uprights. Today we honor one of the most brilliant moments: Bobby Orr flying through the air. Who could forget that play against St. Louis as the Bruins beat the Blues to bring a Stanley Cup to Boston.”

To be honest, I’m on the fence about it. I don’t like Leighton (we all know that) and I worry about what Boucher will be thinking with him on the bench, but I also wonder what the team will do knowing a guy they rallied around is back on the bench. It could have a positive effect on the team and/or have a negative effect on Boucher.

But I’d rather not be Boucher’s backup. I’d prefer to be his towel boy.

Bottom line to me is there isn’t any room on this roster for a player who spends 3 minutes on the ice and 5 or 10 in the box. Pointless. We got tough guys who can fight, Carcillo, Hartnell, Lappy, Asham, who all have some offensive talent. Lappy is a former 20 goal scorer, Hartnell a 30 and Carcillo has 20 goal a season potential.

yeah but a great goalie can win a lot of games. Look at Halak he and Cammalleri are the only thing keeping Montreal in this, it’s already an epic season for them. If they can beat pens and send them home, they basically upset the best two teams in the nhl in back to back rounds.

What’s a half-box of Thin Mints? I’ve only ever seen a full box and an empty box.

by pintium02 on May 10, 2010 7:54 PM EDT up reply actions

A half-box is only having one of the two packets of cookies left because if I had eaten the rest I would have gone into a sugar coma during finals (because I had more junk food than just the cookies), and that would not be good.
