Looking for a fan photo

Yesterday the NHL page on ESPN.com had a picture of two crazy looking Flyers fans completely painted in orange, wigs, and talking into orange megaphones. But when I came back from work to download the pic, it was removed and I cant find it. Does anyone know where I can find this pic?

I agree. For the full effect, you have to imitate what the Canucks guys did who were fully in green without the shorts.

“Why?”, the doubters may ask. Because the whole idea behind the outfit is maximum shock value – without the shorts, you have simulated nudity (and the appearance of an alien to boot); with the shorts, you just look like you are personally uncomfortable with simulated nudity (which begs the question why they chose to wear the outfit at all).

Still, I’m glad they decided to wear the outfit – it would be better if they went all the way, though…

I have to agree with you on this one. I went as green man for Halloween this year (I know really overplayed) and I did the whole just the suit. The biggest thing is they are probably uncomfortable with their “junk” hanging out, in which case they should just do what I did to make it even more ridiculous, stuff a tube sock in there. Those suits are really fun to wear though, I have parties, get wasted and then come running into rooms wearing it for shock value.

A very good solution! :) Kind of an “old-school Red Hot Chili Peppers” look. Do you think the guys above read this blog? Can we get word to them if they don’t (j/k).

Just so that no one gets the wrong idea reading all of the above, their outfits are fine as they are. I admire the devotion it took to get dressed up that way. I have my own much-more-sedate uniform I wear for watching the games. However, they could really make an impression going pantless (with or without the tube sock… ;)
