pretty clever
I like it. Of course, I hope Chicago doesn’t meet the same fate as those other cities. No offense.
Flyers fans…if you’re interested, here is a link for desktop wallpaper with a schedule for the SCF games. Yeah, I know its from the Hawks website, but there is a pretty cool Richards vs. Toews one in there you guys might like.

These campaigns
Are so cheeky and so very Philadelphia. I like them. Hope it doesn’t turn out to be the verbal equivalent of a sweater on William Penn.

At least all the letters are facing the right direction?
Congratulations, your city is smarter than cows!
Watch it with the jinxing!
Time for some thrillin' heroics!

Hey, those cows are pretty smart.
Don’t forget, they were able to parachute into a stadium directly on top of the burger guy.
That has to take some knowledge of math and physics.
all were riding the “hot playoff goalie” meme until the flyers played them?

“Brodeur is riding the hot hand after blanking against the Islanders and Leaf at the end of the regular season.”
Man those people sucked.
The Devils people who argued the Devils were on a roll in April when they were playing the bottom of the league. In Lou we Trust in general.
meh-they beat buffalo on the last day of the season, and took the hawks to overtime in the last 6 games, but i see your point.
overall, brodeur played very well. and still, it takes talent to blank any team in the nhl.

I know the answer
Win or lose we’re happy that we’re not from Philadelphia.
Just kidding – it should be a great series.

A response from the Ticket Lottery...
Do you think they would throw in plane flights to and from England if I agreed to buy a season ticket for next year?
Thank you for your support of the Flyers and for registering for a chance to purchase tickets to the 2010 Stanley Cup Final in Philadelphia.
We received an overwhelming response from Flyers fans and tickets were extremely limited. Though we are unable to offer you tickets through the lottery at this time, access to the final games are still available when you commit to a 2010-11 full season ticket package.
I’m starting to get a bad feeling that this was all just a marketing ploy to get people to buy season tickets for next year.
Could anyone who registered for the ticket lottery who did get the opportunity to purchase tickets for games 3, 4, or 6 without buying season tickets for next year please prove me wrong by posting your successful result? (I am sincerely wanting someone to post such a result – I would be very, very happy to be wrong.)
Thank you!
Regardless of this whole thing…
GO FLYERS!!!! :)

And South Jersey fans get to see their state dissed in their city
I have respect for most sports fans with 2 exceptions: NY Ranger fans who grew up in New Jersey, and Dallas Cowboy fans who can't name the capital of Texas.
they could have just said Newark.....
5. NO RINK IS AS BEAUTIFUL AS OURS
6. NO COACH IS AS ORANGE-TIED AS OURS
7. NO SPORTS TEAM ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH HAS MORE HEART THAN THE PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
Because everybody knows them as the Newark Devils
;)
I still enjoy referring to them as the Kansas City Scouts, personally, but that’s a bit too obscure for most people
Honor is no substitute for victory.
They're pretty used to it by now
Don’t you think? PA and NJ always make fun of one another.

That Philly cheesesteak is overrated?
j/k! Great ad— can imagine how it can pump up the city. All we do in Chicago is dress our statues up.
But when it was suggested to him that Toews v. Kane seems likely to become a sidebar to every future international hockey tournament, he smiled and said: "I'd like us to win something together, too."

Oooh...someone needs to go give Mini-Billy a beer.
He needs to be kept happy before this series
Honor is no substitute for victory.
Twice, no? There was the giant Phillies cap in 1993 and the Flyers sweater in 1997. I think they learned their lesson by the time the Sixers got to the big show in 2001, but by then it was too late. They already pissed off this guy:

I don’t think he is pist anymore unless he, like everyone else, is madly in love with Chase Utley
