I tried embedding it as a fanshot, but for some reason, I kept getting a message saying “HTML can’t be blank.” If anyone with better technology wants to see if they have better luck posting the embed code, go right ahead.
And yes, it is as awesome as we all thought it was last night.
Proudly supporting a Flyers team with "no honor."
Holy mackinaw. The three year, two-way entry level contract for Bob (can we all agree that’s his nickname?) has a base salary of $900,000 with $850,000 of potential bonuses. So for the Flyers to call him up, they essentially have to have $1.75 million worth of cap space available. With potential bonuses factored in, the Flyers need ~$1.65m available for JVR (#2 overall pick and all) to be on the NHL roster.
I hope this isn’t the “young goalie” acquisition that SanFilippo was told the Flyers were making a priority. Jumping the gun a whole hell of a lot considering we’re still in the playoffs, but going into training camp next year could we see Backlund and Bobrovsky battling to backup Boucher?
How soon after the season is over, are we going to hear about us resigning Esche?

Can’t be. The Flyers obviously have a thing for goalies who start with a “B”.
*B*oucher, *B*acklund, *B*obrovsky…
Although Esche was known in the 2004 playoffs as Silent *B*ob…
Do you see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps?
Those B’s were supposed to be bold.
Boucher, Backlund, Bobrovsky.
