One question
Who the F is Adam Burish??????
I guess 2 questions, where the F were you the whole series Adam?
"Call me dumb, call me stupid, whatever. I block shots."
Really?
You just won the cup and this is one of your first reactions? Too bad Pronger still has more talent in his little toe than Burish has in his whole body.

In his defense, the sports-bimbo-caster stuck the mic in his face and asked point blank
and Burish, being Burish, gave a provocative answer.
Nothing really to see there, just move along
Confusion will be my epitaph.
I said that later
But Burish could have been smart—just think of that—and refused to comment. It is possible.

Who is this guy?
Did he even play during the finals? If he did, I never heard his name on the broadcast.
Wow
Honestly no words. Kind of funny coming from him considering who he is, and his lack of value to a hockey team.
And the Flyers are the the classless bunch of goons… I’m not sure how I feel about Chicago anymore after this series.
I would bet money he was baited into giving this answer, and hockey players aren’t known for their supreme intelligence. However, that being said, he’s not a star and to take shots at one, regardless of his personal feelings after his team just won the cup…kind of bad timing.

that he is Adam Burish.

Upon moving to AL, I let my wife decide who she would root for. After one day at a new job full of Bama fans, she met me at the door with a hearty cry of "WAR EAGLE"

Bury that rubish = Burish
I love the Lightning AND the Flyers... go ahead, preach me!
Dare to follow my childish, biased, petty and cheesy alter ego.
American Cheese, B!tch!
I hope you drop the Cup on your toe
and get a bunion.
I guess some idiots turn in Smythe-worthy performances three of every five years with different teams, and some don’t. Hint: you’re not one of ’em, and 20 in orange is.

So Adam, any chance you'll be playing against Mr. Pronger again?
Ah! The thought never even entered your mind.
What a surprise!
No Adam, the “thought” part, not the “mind” part. But now that you mention it…
Anyway, maybe stay out of his corner, yeah?

Death wish
While Pronger may not pay attention to what the media says, what this yahoo said has to rankle. Heaven forbid there’s a regular season game next year where Burish plays against Pronger, because the Flyers will have to handle the next several games without their best defenseman while he’s on suspension!
257
That’s the number of players who had more points than Adam Burrish in this year’s playoffs…Pronger may be an idiot but you Adam Burrish literally bring nothing to your team except a wasted check and a roster spot. Enjoy being irrelevant. Oh and next year when you play the Flyers and get absolutely steamrolled don’t bother trying to figure out who it was that hit you, just remember what you said last night and I am sure the light bulb will go on….or maybe it won’t.

This is just a stupid comment by Burish.

Burish gets his name on the Cup out of pure luck – he happened to be playing on the right team. He’s pathetic.
Well, Huet isn't exactly pathetic but same for him. Both were passengers.

Yeah I was just thinking he’s pathetic ‘cuz he’s talking trash about Pronger, as if he was “the shit” himself! Uuggh

Burish isn't really worth our time and trouble (see my comment 3 above yours)...
But I have to say I’m glad one Hawk will get his name on the Cup: Nick Boynton. I’ve always liked him because he’s a good honest player, but now I’m glad his name is going on the Cup because of what that waste of air Randy Carlyle told him. Carlyle said he wasn’t good enough to play in the NHL anymore this year. Ooops. I love that.

Actually had the full interview with this douche on it last night. He also says he hopes he never has to play him again (naturally, I would think now he really hopes not, considering Asst Capt Elbows might take some liberties with this guys’ face in wake of his comments), but if he saw him on the ice right now, he’d probably punch him in the face.
Really?
My guess is this guy was your typical jock bully in HS, and now when up against the best in the sport, he doesn’t measure up—so the best he can do it talk shit after his team wins the cup (with very little contribution from him BTW). Sounds like someone feels a tad inadequate, amirite? ;-)

from Sportsnet
Chris Pronger of the Philadelphia Flyers, responding to Adam Burish’s “idiot” and punching comments from after Chicago won the Cup: “Why is he worrying about me instead of celebrating winning the Cup? Boy, it just goes to show how much I was in his kitchen for him to be talking about me five minutes after he wins the Cup.”
Indeed, Chris, indeed. :)
