Okay this isn't going to be long but I need an answer!! I've been following this off season pretty closely and I've been on Capgeek several times looking at their cap situation and one thing really stuck out at me. A few weeks ago Cote was listed as a free agent (can't remember if it was UFA or RFA) I go on capgeek today and he is listed as making 550k for this season!!! If this is correct I can't understand it unless they plan on sending him down to the Phantoms.....with Shelly and Carcillo signed we have no need for him!! I also want to know how this signing went under the radar....albeit it's not a huge signing but when they sign guys to Phantoms it ends up on one of the Flyers sites......so I say WTH??
