So lets recap this. Over the past few months fans of philadelphia sports have watched the Phillies lose the world series, the eagles trade McNabb to the Redskins, Cliff Lee get traded for peanuts, the flyers lose the stanely cup on a shot that a peewee goalie should have saved, and now the longest tenured flyer in Simon Gagne gets traded. This crap has got to stop at some point. I thought we got rid of the Curse of Billy Penn when we won the series in 08. Gagne was everything you wanted in a hockey player. He played a great two-way game and was a stand up guy on and off the ice. It really sucks to see him have to go. Damn, its been a crazy nine months in south philly. Hopefully somebody can put an end to it. Feel free to discuss the plight of the philly phaithful.
