Last season Hartnell of the Flyers agreed to waive his NTC to come to Edmonton. Tambellini pulled out of a deal that would have sent Souray.
Ooh boy.

(if thats true) hartnell would have been taking one for the team there. who the hell would agree to go to edmonton?
If anything, I think that tells you simply how much his off-the-ice stuff was affecting him. I feel pretty bad for all the bad things I said about him. Guy was clearly not in a good place mentally. Briere probably wasn’t either.

Off the ice? What happened off the ice? I thought it was BSH’s policy that anything off the ice didn’t happen.

Hopefully that wasn’t just Hartnell for Souray…

It doesn’t matter now. I’m just glad it didn’t happen.
Do you see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps?
Well, if I wanted to get on another anti-Homer kick, it would matter.
But you’re right, let’s not go there.

Puckdaddy link contains an awesome Lindros video. Lindros vs. Stevens must be one of if the they greatest 1 on 1 battle between two players in NHL History. FWD was D-Men hits fights and then lights out. It’s a shame his injuries haunted him his whole career especially come playoff time.
Even though it was a Lindros highlight film, every time he came across the blue line with his head down I cringed a little. He was too big, and too dominant coming up for his own good. If only he could have figured something as simple as picking your head up when your coming across the middle of the ice…sigh.
Dude was a beast though.
Is this the right room for an argument?
That Battle of California post...
Boston Bruins: After making history with their spectacular failure in the playoffs last season, this year the Bruins will discover exciting new ways to completely suck. They’ll tie for the division championship at the end of the year but, with the new tie-breaker system disregarding shootout wins, will end up missing the playoffs entirely.
Ahahahaha… amazing. What a great read.
I love the Lightning AND the Flyers... go ahead, preach me!
