I thought mikefive established that on yesterday’s thread. LOL. He’s got Simon’s on-ice style and Mike’s distaste for the media and hustle/grit (and hatred of losing). I’ll leave it up to the other ladies to decide from where Chase gets his rugged good looks.

Chase Utley is one of the best baseball players in the game today, so naturally anyone good in this city will be compared to him at some point or another. It’s a good thing.

You’re not unoriginal at all, sorry if that was implied—I just meant to defend your position by saying that because he’s so good it would be natural to compare any good player to him, but in particular I’ve always thought Richards was equal to Chase (with some Gagne thrown in just for mancrush reasons as Gagne seemed to have lots of guys who just love/loved him).

haha, thanks. I was being slightly sarcastic. I wasn’t nearly as offended as it sounded. The smiley was my way of (poorly) communicating that.

haha, well I don’t know who the Phillies Captain is, but you have to think (besides Cholly) it’s equal parts Jimmy Rollins’ team and Chase Utley’s team. Pronger would be Rollins (that’s a really bad analogy) but Richards would be Utley (a decent, but imperfect analogy).
