Before the serious stuff starts up, that DGB piece was most excellent.
Poor Atlanta:
The good: Will no longer fail to meet fan expectations, as that would require both expectations and fans.
Is this the right room for an argument?
Still waiting for the serious stuff?

SNAPE!
(screams) <3
I love the Lightning AND the Flyers... go ahead, preach me!
Dare to follow my childish, biased, petty and cheesy alter ego.

Your Boucher conversation on the other thread held me over nicely haha. The point McManus brought up about Legein was interesting. I wasn’t surprised Maroon didn’t get much of a look on the Flyers this year after what I read about him last season, but I would have liked to see some of Legein over guys like Rinaldo.
Is this the right room for an argument?
I would love to see Legein play. I know very little about him.

Does that fill the serious quota for the day?
Also, any chance you’ll be at the game tonight?
Is this the right room for an argument?
Sadly, no. But I think Travis will be.

Well I’ll be there meandering around with Jenn if he is reading this. I’m assuming there will be some empty seats in 124 that we will gladly fill. You should grab a cheap ticket and join him/us…if cheap tickets exist anymore.
Is this the right room for an argument?
I’ll be at the game tonight, maybe I could find him there.
Flyers 10-11 season slogan: "Remember Emery?"
I’ll be there tonight up in the press box. If I have a chance I’ll come down and see you guys during warmups.

I’ll be in the 123/124 tunnel during warmups…my name is Don. I’ll be sitting somewhere in 124 during the game, not sure where exactly…chances are somewhere close to the tunnel in 123/124.
Is this the right room for an argument?
That piece is just pure hilarious!! I read it again and I’m still laughing!!
On the side, I don’t know if this was in the Fly By when it was written (if it was I missed it), but I saw a story called “Chris Pronger’s other jerk moves”
http://www.downgoesbrown.com/2010/06/chris-prongers-other-jerk-moves.html
that’s funny and worth a read if you haven’t seen it before.

I missed the hit although I was streaming. I’d love to see it.

Wait van Riemsdyk injured Salvador?
So you are telling me the one Flyer who group up in Jersey is going to be the one to fix the Devils salary cap problems?
hahaha, the guys on nhl live said JVR hit him and now, according to Lou, he has an “ear problem” but it’s not a “head problem” and they’ll know more after he sees doctors. i’m so proud.
Conspiracy!!! Why else would he be the one to fix the Devils cap?
Lol but from what I’ve seen in this pre-season JVR is doing what we want him to do. He bulked up and he’s throwing his body everywhere. He isn’t lighting up the scoreboard like last preseason but I think if he’s on the right line (I’m really wanting a JVR-Giroux-Zherdev line) he will get the scoring we want too.

He grew up a Rangers fan though, so despite being from Jersey he wouldn’t want to fix the Devil’s cap problem for them.

Anybody else see this on the sidebar? Top 10 penalty killing defensemen in the league
That’s the first time since Prongs arrived that I’ve seen anyone in the media give Kimmo serious attention; seeing how they have Pronger as an honorable mention but Kimmo is #6.
Oy, my mistake. It wasn’t on the sidebar, it was on Puck Daddy.
