at the risk of of my integrity, honor, and personal beliefs, moreover, against every urge in my being, yet i dare pose the question...  looking at how things have played out to this point in the season, do you think the Flyers made the better business decision with the Gagne debacle?

is (Zherdev [minus?] Walker) > (Gagne) for the 2010-11 season?

Z has 14 goals and 3 assists in 40 games and is a +3 @ 2mill

Walker has 0 everything in 4 games @ 1.7mill (signed through 2012-13)

Simon has 6 goals and 4 assists in 31 games and is a -22 @ 5.25mill

It pains me to say yes, especially when i recall the indignity of the trade, but perhaps it is this just one those bad fit situations, and if Simon were still here things would be completely different... 

personally i hope that the flyers bring him back as soon as possible and let him finish his career out here... we owe him as much.
