I remember there being a pretty strong wave of negativity to the recent pregame-videos played by the Flyers. Of these, the Dan Carcillo "\m/' video from the second half of 2009-10 seemed to have the most "WTF" response, due to the "omgwerethebroadstreetBULLIES" theme.

Between the obvious love for DC(M)'s metal horns, it definetly goes back to "yeah, we'll kick your ass and then try to make up for it with shitty penalties" aspect of the team. Don't get me wrong, I love this video, but plenty of people didnt seem to appreciate the image that, once again, the Flyers FO was pushing on us...if the FO has anything to do with it. And I have to agree, to some point. Its badass and all, but...
So, the new one's up:

From a production/holyshitthatscool standpoint, holy shit, that's cool. The art style, the integration of the music into the pacing of the video and the "impacts" are freakin' sweet. However.
FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT. WARRIOR. FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT. JODYSHELLEYINTHEFIRSTTENSECONDS. FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT.
Its cool as fuck, but I really dunno if I like this whole "HEY REMEMBER WERE THE BROAD STREET BULLIES" kind of thing. This is coming from a guy who owns a Dan Carcillo jersey and has always supported fighting in-game, as well as having a softspot for agitators.
But still, really? We have to push it this far this season? After all the shake-ups, we go right back to JODY SHELLEY FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT?
