Video: The best 12 seconds of the Flyers' season so far

This may have been my favorite 12 second stretch of the entire season so far. Alex Ovechkin tries to dance around like and idiot and Braydon Coburn plays him exactly like you're supposed to -- plant him in the wall.

Ovi actually danced himself out of the puck, and Coburn made sure he knew it. Hell, this would be awesome in its own right, but the fact that the Flyers pick up the puck, storm the other way and put it behind Tomas Vokoun? Perfect. I can't think of another 12 second stretch this season that was better. Ovechkin sucks, etc.

And Ovechkin finishes the play by smashing his stick against the goalpost. Nice symmetry.

I love Ovechkin just gliding into the defensive zone watching his team get scored on. If he was trying he easily could have lifted Talbot’s stick or done ANYTHING other than look like a lazy princess.

Seems like Coburn is really taking the next step forward this season. He’ll obviously never be a puck-moving points producer like Timonen, but in Pronger’s absence he is doing a tremendous job at physically shutting down opponents.

I’m known to be cranky as well, especially when there’s no fly by to read. #misclick

Anybody else notice the workplace safety violation by Jagr?

I was too busy looking behind him. It was a wall full of the name plates of ex-Flyers. You could see Leino, Versteeg, Nodl. It was kind of grim, like a wall of the fallen.

Gotta love Bryz

None of the Flyers will ever shoot Tigers in China.

Simon Gagne AND Mike Richards may move between towns, wear new jerseys and call different arenas home but, at the end of the day, they will both always be Philadelphia Flyers.

One day Sean Couturier will win the Conn Smythe. You heard it here first.
