The Two O'Clock Number

Based on popular "The Noon Number"-type features at a number of SB Nation hockey sites (specifically Japers' Rink), we here at Broad Street Hockey are going to try out something similar. Enjoy.

1 - The number of additional points the Flyers need to surpass 88 points, their total for the 2009-10 season. There are sixteen games remaining in the regular season in which to secure this one point. The Flyers have already equaled last season's win total (41).

And to think, they've done it all without a single appearance by Jeremy Duchesne. What a team.

Have you guys ever traveled to Ontario? to Toronto ?

I am a Philadelphian and a FLYERS fan all the way.

But I would love to own a summer home on one of the lakes in southern ontario. Maybe London or Scarborough area.

I have been up there. And to tell you the truth, the fans are rabid hockey fans, mostly Maple Leafs fans but great fanbase and respecter of the game.

Everytime I go to Niagara Falls or Toronto area, I get treated super nice.

Bingo. There are those on PPP (or in any fanbase) who don’t like us, but clearly not everyone.

its more that I have a Hard time of telling via Typing and texting who is joking with me – which makes it hard for me – because as you can tell I have a Sarcastic and Cynical and Weird sense of humor.

(Gee – Army Infantry Sergeant – Bored, alone in some bush or desert somewhere, – who has a dark sarcastic, weird & cynical sense of humor ? go figure)

So I like to joke but I cannot tell via Internet if people are joking or serious or whatnot as much as I can if I was face to face with people.
