Stuck at Passover missing game
I have my passover dinner at 6 going to 10 so I miss both the Flyers and the Sixers. The Sixers I can live with but I cant miss a flyers game so… my plea to all you true flyers fans is tell me some way to watch this game. I have an iphone and a portable. IF your idea works I will owe you for life. So please help me. Go flyers fuck the sabers

I’m in the exact same predicament as you. I plan on bringing a very tiny radio and sneaking in a headphone to listen to the game. Since you have an Iphone you can get the espn live gamecast and just get an updated score. You can also look at all the beat writer’s tweets about the game (tpanotch, NHLFlyers, AnthonySan37, DNFlyers).
Tunein Radio App on the iphone get any hockey game nhl/ahl i just heard about it on a podcast

Bible Study
I don’t miss important obligations – for a Game 7 SC Final I would clear everything. I missed for Bible Study tonight.

I hear ya, but that’s a tough angle to take on this one. Passover is really major, well at least the first Seder is. My in laws aren’t normally devout at all, they’re at the far end of the reform spectrum and then still gloss over most of the rules, but the Seder is one of the few things that is truly serious business.

My family is very similar. We have the 30 minute Seder Haggadah which covers everything in detail and keeps it quick for the little ones. We finished up just in time for me to see Carter’s goal.

Mine worked out much better than I expected…. I ran late getting the Seder set up, so my fiance turned on the start of the game, which broke the ice well enough for him to be able to check back and get updates periodically. I wouldn’t have been able to get away with that, but he could. I still didn’t get to watch anything, but at least I was able to know we were winning each time he checked, rather than be stressed out during the Seder.
