It really is a fucking joke. If they want to eliminate headshots guess what step one would be…punishing fucking headshots. It was a clear elbow to the back of the head of a player who had no idea it was coming. I love Simon Gagne but I almost wish he was knocked out for the rest of the game because maybe then there would have been some justice. Though that of course brings up the ref by result argument which is even more bullshit. It’s to the point now that everything we’ve seen from other humorists (the wheel of justice, the flowchart, etc.) is almost as close to what really happens. When is the league going to man up, grow a pair and actually make someone live with the consequences of their actions. They suspended Bobby Ryan two fucking games for stomping on a guys foot.

Haha, not a dick at all. I was just messing with you and I agree 1000% that you spent the same amount of time as the NHL (Colin Campbell) spent thinking about everything. It’s ridiculous.

I really need to make a trip up to Philly to get in on one of these Open Ice games at some point. It’d be great to meet all of you and know your actual attitudes.
