Okay, so this isn't necessarily the most current and up to date strip, but I did want to pay tribute to one of my top 5 favorite Flyers of all time, Simon Gagne. Pretend I drew this in November.

I became a Flyers fan in 95 or 96 or so, and credit Lindros and Leclair with making me a hockey fan. But Gagne was the first young player drafted after I was a fan who really made an impact, and I always felt connected to him. He will always be a Flyer. When he was traded I was sad, but I was glad he went to a team I didn't despise, and I could still root for him. Gagne the Devil would've been unbearable.

So I made him the first non-Flyer to appear in the strip. Everyone who appears will be wearing shirt/shorts/socks combination of the real-life team they play for. I chose the new Lightning uniform because the blue looked better than the black when I colored it.
